The world... according to ME

I already know that the world doesn't make sense... I just try to document it.

On vegetarianness...

So, I read somewhere that Boca Spicy Chik'n patties (read: vegan soy patties) were not bad tasting, and that they actually tasted like chicken. At any rate, for reasons that I cannot explain, I believed this, so off I went to the grocery store, to buy fake chik'n. I got them, and tried them, and you know what, they weren't too bad, especially with condiments such as bbq sauce! So, now, I'm feelin' good about vegetarian food... hey, this stuff isn't bad! So I investigate further, and find that there are vegetarian chicken strips and steak strips (made of soy), and I think, this could be the new hotness! I read reviews online, and people actually raved that these were good! It's always been kind of chic to be a vegetarian, I figured. So I bought those two, and some vegetarian spinach chik'n nuggets.

Well, the moral of the story is never trust a vegetarian who claims that "meat" is good. The spinach/soy nuggets were fine, with bbq sauce, but the steak and chicken strips were hot garbage. I literally had to spit that mess out. Uggggghhh! *shudders*

So, anything that is fried and breaded can't be that bad, even soy. And vegetarians have bad taste, or broken taste buds.
